From The Heart

This last week, a law was passed in New York. Women now have the right to abort their baby up to birth. What is our world coming to? It was horrific to watch the video of the governor signing the law into existence. Everyone smiled and applauded truly sad as I thought that is not something to be proud of. Then I learned that lethal injection is illegal in New York? What??? This does not make sense. How can people not allow killing someone who has committed a crime and yet allow a baby who has done nothing to be killed??? There are several stages of development for a a baby but the very first second a baby is conceived, IT is a life!! When a woman announces she is expecting there is much joy because the baby is part of them and their lives are changed forever. The woman is not pregnant with an immobile object. After some time a pregnant woman goes to a doctor to hear her baby's heartbeat. A prenatal heartbeat is not a figment of imagination. Everyone in the room hear that heartbeat. I watched Pastor Greg Locke do a video response from the law signing and he was very understandably upset. I applaud him as he spoke truth when he said " God is the one that gives life so we (women and others) do not have the right to take the life away. So true. In closing I ask that you will pray for our government to have wisdom. WE NEED IT!! Other states have ruled the unborn baby is a life!! Of course it is!! so thankful Blessings Laura
