From The Heart

This last week, a law was passed in New York. Women now have the right to abort their baby up to birth. What is our world coming to? It was horrific to watch the video of the governor signing the law into existence. Everyone smiled and applauded truly sad as I thought that is not something to be proud of. Then I learned that lethal injection is illegal in New York? What??? This does not make sense. How can people not allow killing someone who has committed a crime and yet allow a baby who has done nothing to be killed??? There are several stages of development for a a baby but the very first second a baby is conceived, IT is a life!! When a woman announces she is expecting there is much joy because the baby is part of them and their lives are changed forever. The woman is not pregnant with an immobile object. After some time a pregnant woman goes to a doctor to hear her baby's heartbeat. A prenatal heartbeat is not a figment of imagination. Everyone in the room hear that heartbeat....

Faith

Many of us pause at the end of a year, to reflect on goals and resolutions that we want to accomplish in the new year. Some common resolutions are new jobs,new home,increase in faith etc.. With the start of this new year, I have been examining some of my struggles and working on them bit by bit. I have felt new determination to succeed in my struggles and I encourage you to do the same. It feels good! If you read the title to this post, you know the topic is Faith. Dictionary.com states that Faith is the belief in a person or something. As a christian my faith in God is an important part of who I am and it plays a part of how I live my life. Having faith is not always easy for me, but I think about the men of faith in the Bible and I am encouraged to grow in my faith. Noah in Genesis, was a righteous man who sought to do God's calling. Happy New Year

Happy New Year!! I hope that the first 12 days of January 2019 have been sweet. Life is hard sometimes and things do happen that may rock your world, But I am so thankful that God is our rock and that He has us in His Hands. I am a firm believer in encouragement and wanting to show encouragement daily. I believe that God instilled this gift in me and I truly enjoy trying to encourage others. There are many topics that we could cover and I am open to suggestions.. I hope that these posts, will bring joy to read and comment on.
