Wow it has been so long!! (Laura's Life August 2009)

Hello all
I am so sorry that it has been so long!!!! I don't really have an excuse except that life gets away from me at times and things dont get updated..Anyways since the last entry was in November 2008 I should try to remember what happened.. Christmas I know and that was fun...

For your sakes I will save yall alot of boring reading and just skip forward!!

Even though my last entry was in Nov.. I see that I did not share that my sister called me and told me that she was gonna be a mommy.. This is her first and I was
so excited.. So skip forward 9 months and Alyssa Marie was born April 14, 2009 I will attach picture of me meeting her 2 weeks later!!!.. She is adorable and it is hard being so far away and yet I am so thankful I get to see her on skype.. (She smiled at me the other day..)

Another cool thing that happened was that the first time in 5 years all four of the Willits Siblings were in one room.. Since my sister Sara got married we have have been dispersed.. A col factor of it was that I did not know my youngest brother was coming.. for a month and a half my family told me that we could not find a ticket for him... SO it was indeed a surprise to see him.. We had our first Willits Family reunion..

Another big thing in my life is that i have moved away from Waco to a small town called Yantis. My mom's mom and and sister and 3 cousins and all their families
live here and so that is a plus.. I never thought that I would leave Waco as I
LOVED ANTIOCH COMMUNITY CHURCH AND I WAS SO IN.. But when God calls I go!!

Hello friends, Time has flown by and I have not written since July 2008. I, at times just get busy as we all get.. but rest assured that I carry you all in my heart.. I do apologize though for the gap of time and I indeed have not fallen off the face of the earth :) For those of you near and far I just to wish to update you on my life and my family.. I am still at the church working 2 days a week cleaning the rooms... I also help with childcare pretty regularly.. Part of Me

Through the course of some events, God has helped me to realize that I have not entirely dealt with some events that happened when I was a child. This is a part of me that up to now has not been shared with many, but sometimes sharing the painful parts can bring healing and can let people see why someone might be how they are. In 1991, I was in the fourth grade and my family was back in the USA for the year. At that point my learning disorder had not been officially diagnosed and I was desperate to understand my instructions in school and to fit in. Thankfully, I do not recall every day of that awful year but my mom has told me that I came home every day crying over some event that had taken place that day. MY BIRTHDAY

Hello All Monday is my birthday!!!!!! I am turning 29!!!!! its between 28 and 30!! I am getting old!! I hope you have a good week!!!! Laura By the Way I have now worked approximately 42 hours at my new job (I am working for a cleaning company I help clean houses and the middle school in the small town I am in..) and it going well.. I am tired but its good... so anyhow I am going back to bed I woke up and my arm was asleep and so I had to move it around!! hehe
