Oh my homeland..

Ok I know that it is 2 minutes till midnight and I
am hoping you have all slept well. I, on Thursday
evening watched Hotel Rwanda!! I normally do
not watch these type of movies because my heart
cannot take it, but I must admit that I watched most
of it. I did leave the TV between commercials and I
am thinking, I missed some of the more violent parts..

It is indeed a violent movie and intense. It makes my
heart break to see it and see what people went through.
Oh my heart bled for the people and for Africa. Sure it
may not be as bad in other parts of Africa as it was in
Rwanda but things have been very bad in other places
and countries are still trying to recuperate!! It is how
sad that africa is so poor and needy. Forgive me for a
rant but of I had to get it off my chest....I love Africa.

Hello friends, Time has flown by and I have not written since July 2008. I, at times just get busy as we all get.. but rest assured that I carry you all in my heart.. I do apologize though for the gap of time and I indeed have not fallen off the face of the earth :) For those of you near and far I just to wish to update you on my life and my family.. I am still at the church working 2 days a week cleaning the rooms... I also help with childcare pretty regularly.. The kids are indeed so precious I usually help with the preschool age and they are fun.. The times I have watched babies have also been fun and sweet as they melt my heart.. My last post has 33 views which is great but I don't know who is looking at the posts. MY BIRTHDAY

Hello All Monday is my birthday!!!!!! I am turning 29!!!!! its between 28 and 30!! I am getting old!! I hope you have a good week!!!! Laura By the Way I have now worked approximately 42 hours at my new job (I am working for a cleaning company I help clean houses and the middle school in the small town I am in..) and it going well.. I am tired but its good... so anyhow I am going back to bed I woke up and my arm was asleep and so I had to move it around!! hehe
