Struggles

Do you ever have moments of uncertainty? whatever we face How do you deal with it? Do you seek God's direction? Ask for His wisdom? Worry about your situation? Are you anxious about your situation? Do you pray? God is there whether you feel Him or not.. It is hard to deal with a difficult situation whatever it might be, and God can sometimes feel far off but He is not. When we are in transition or whatever the case might be He is there with you!! He knows what will happen.. It is normal to be silently struggling with a situation, and one might think they are alone, that there is no one else struggling with what they are. If you are that person right now know that you are not alone! God is there and believe me there are others in similar shoes. Studies have been done where one cannot NOT communicate. Human interaction is needed most of the time.. WHY? because we need each other!! We were put on this earth to be His hands and feet minister to others!! Take the time to love, pray...

Laura's Life Lately

If you are a friend on social media you might know that in the last month or two there has been a lot happening in my world. Dear Granny joining Her Savior, graduation with an AA,transportation issues, up and down, up and down. Obviously I am not the only one who has these or similar issues but it can be exhausting!! I know it is normal to think that we are the only ones that suffer but I assure you we are not. We tend maybe to just pull in to our world and maybe have a pity party anytime something is added to our list or "this is what is wrong in my life.." list. It is truly how you and God react and act on this that is important. Don't wither but bloom where you planted and God will bless you. Talk with God about your issues and He will guide you. He will comfort and guide you in discerning what you should do. In His service, Laura

God leads I will follow

So this weekend has been a whirlwind, and I may have been a little teary eyed as things have died down and I'm alone again. I was very honored and blessed to have friends and family at my graduation ceremony and party. I was given a gorgeous bible from my church and I am truly blessed to have been supported by so many on social media. Thank you for all your kind words and love. Now that I have an Associate degree people have asked what's next.. I need a BREAK for sure, but eventually will work toward a Bachelor's. I know I will be praying for God's direction. It has been a long journey and I'm proud of myself and thankful to God for finally getting here. I am honored to have heard from so many people that I haven't seen or people that are close or will be far away. One way that I know I am definitely blessed is knowing many people. Thank you all!! Signing off, Laura P.S This is a short post, not sure what else to write so more next week.

Grief..

These past few weeks have been tough. I was not sure how or what I should write but I thought of the blog tonight and so I thought I would try to share something. I had planned to go on a overnight ladies retreat April 12th. I had asked for the day off months ago, and I couldn't wait to go away for the night. I will always remember how I was awake way to early on a day off and at 6:19 AM my phone rang. In hindsight I don't know why I did not think anything could be wrong but that thought did not even cross my mind. It was in that short phone call with my aunt, that I learned that my dear, sweet, Granny had gone to sleep and woken up with Jesus. My dear aunt and I wept together and then I had to call my parents to let them know. No one I am sure, wants to deliver this kind of news but I am thankful that I could call my Dad and he could tell my mom in person. I got in touch with my sister and brothers and again it was sad news to share. In those small moments in life I may ha...

My audience

I learned that I can look at the stats of this blog to see where its being seen I guess? It shows United States of America. My last post has 33 views which is great but I don't know who is looking at the posts. So I am curious would you put your first name and maybe the city you live in? so that I can know who is viewing and or reading my blogs? I would love to know my audience. Please post comments when you feel led to. Thank you all , LW

EAGLES

Who has ever had hard times in your life? Was it expected or unexpected? I will safely guess at least at some point in your life everyone has had some sort of hard time. Was it fun? Could you rejoice in it? Was it easy to talk to God in it? Do you have it figured out? I know I don't. Depending on the type of person you are, difficult times can be excruciating in various levels depending what you are going through. Do you shut yourself away? DO you seek others to make you feel better? DO you look to God? Do you vent or hold it in? Do you let it boil out lashing at those around you? Whatever you might face or feel, God is the one constant take comfort you are not ALONE! Last Sunday my church participated in a revival and our speaker spoke on Eagles and how their way of doing things can be applicable to ourselves. He discussed some ways that eagles live their lives and how their ways can be compared to ours. Eagles are birds of the air and in a sense carefree of issues on t...

Life is crazy

Hello all, Just wanted to take a moment to apologize for being behind on the blog. Even though I am single and have no family to keep me busy, I'm in school and working full time and sometimes will have to do something before the blog. I have seen that I have lost a lot of views of my blogs :(. Feel free to let me know if there is a particular subject you would be interested in. Blessings, Laura
